Dahlhaus ceramics are handmade pottery inspired by spring and gardens, vintage fabric, modern pop art, and colour. All hand-made by Heather Dahl, in her little Vancouver studio where she wheel-throws, hand-builds or slip-casts original designs, and then hand-paints her own glazes onto pots using a technique developed along with patterns and designs. No decals are used to glaze the work so it's all single glaze fired to cone 6 with foodsafe glazes, all mixed in the studio from scratch.

Cynthia Vardhan Ceramics are made by hand on a potters wheel in her downtown Columbus, Ohio studio. Every step of the process is carefully done, including mixing translucent porcelain and making custom colors which you will not find anywhere else. The bright porcelain showcases the rich colors used in the patterns and paintings. Each piece is painstakingly decorated with pigmented clay which makes the patterns raised above the surface, so you can both see and feel the patterns.

She has worked for many years in the horticultural field cultivating a true relationship with plants, wildlife, and their distinctive habitats. Michelle has narrowed her primary focus to nature as a subject to reference. She works to convey the beauty and complexities of nature using texture, pattern, and narrative elements throughout her work, which range from elaborate watercolor and gouache compositions on paper to vast and more layered paintings on canvas. Through her travels she continues to seek out inspiration from the natural world while honing in on the unique details that define each place.
