{Bibliothecary} Animal Teachings by Dawn Brunke

As an animal lover I was greatly dawn to this book.

Animal Teachings by Dawn Brunke is an insightful book, revealing how animals can help us to uncover the wisdom we have forgotten. Sixty species are grouped by their specific teaching from how to find balance and be a better communicator to being more intuitive and living a joyous life. Every entry explores the presence of that species in the natural world and its traditional teaching as it is known through myth and legend or by indigenous peoples.

When I flipped through the book I recognised the style of the illustrations as being the work of an artist I had come across the artist Etsy. Ola Liola animal illustrations are so colourful and intricate and are the perfect accompaniment to this book.

{Organic Epicurean} Lovingearth

Once I started eating this raw chocolate I really noticed how overly sweet and bitter conventional chocolate was.

Lovingearth produces chocolate the way it should be produced; uncooked, unprocessed and in its pure rich essential form sweetened with agave syrup or coconut sugar (both natural low GI sweeteners). The cacao beans are not roasted, which means that their wealth of phytonutrients are fully intact. They have been independently tested by Southern Cross University to have up to two times the antioxidants of conventionally processed chocolate.

Simple, natural textures, hand-hewn beams, bleached wood, weathered planks, woven blankets, cow-hide and Navajo rugs. Inspired by the honesty of homespun materials of the past wedded to a flair for the present. It's flower-sprigged brocade, tawny leather, crisp eyelet and soft linen, corduroy with crochet trims, woollen plaids, cosy flannel and wispy organza.
